LATEST LAM NEWS

We had a very productive work day at the museum on April 18. Inventory was counted, a wall was painted, lots of cleaning was done, all in preparation to open in May. Thank you for all who came out to help. The museum couldn’t function without you.

We also had University of Maine at Presque Isle on site to help locate graves in the K9 Cemetery. Professor Chunzeng Wang brought a ground penetrating radar unit to assist us in locating graves. We found 4 possible graves. There’s more to be done but this is a huge step in the right  direction. 

May’s monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday May 12 at 6 PM At the museum. We also have a Zoom option available. Message for more information.
